Your job in a nutshell

As a desktop publisher, your job involves creating visually appealing layouts for various print and digital media. You use specialized software to combine text, images, and graphics into cohesive designs for brochures, advertisements, posters, direct mail, and online (social) content. Your responsibilities include ensuring high-quality outputs, adhering to brand guidelines, and collaborating with designers, copywriters, and clients to meet project specifications and deadlines.

What you'll do

As a desktop publisher, you will:

• Create layouts for all media types, including direct mail, print advertisements, brochures, POS materials, etc., in multiple languages.
• Focus on traditional DTP work for our clients and keep your skills up-to-date.
• Oversee all production from start to finish: from the briefing to the translation and printing process and final delivery to the customer.
• Create several online materials and work in tools like Figma or Bannerify.

Each of your colleagues is an expert in their field, with a heart for print and digital. Because you are on top of your game, you ensure that your team has nothing to worry about and can focus on what it does best: delivering top quality.

Your (growing) skillset:

• You have at least 3 years experience as a desktop publisher in an advertising agency or a graphic design studio.
• You have a degree in graphic design.
• You are proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud.
• You have knowledge of Figma and Bannerify.
• You are interested in AI and automation.
• You can meet tight deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• You demonstrate a “can-do, no-nonsense” attitude.
• You are both a team player and you can work independently.
• You share your enthusiasm for innovation and knowledge.
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch; French is a plus.
• Nice to have: Experience with Adobe Animate.
